EWiEn held it’s Annual Women in Energy Event 2021 in collaboration with GIZ Energy Programme Ethiopia (EPE) on December 3, 2021. The event was conducted with the aim of creating awareness, and providing a place for stakeholders to engage in energy-gender nexus discussions such as professional growth pathways and strategies to elevate women in the sector.
The Ethiopian Women in Energy Network (EWIEN) voted Rekik Bekele, Founder-Director of Green Scene Energy PLC, 2021’s Most Influential Woman in the Energy Sector. We are so proud. Well done Rekik.
Rekik was awarded Influential Women in Energy Award at the Annual Women In energy Event hosted by EWiEn. The award is presented to women who work in the energy sector that are to have impactful leadership roles in the sector and therefore can pave the way for the young generation to aspire a profession and leadership role in the energy sector.
