Green Cook Ethiopia applies a flexible, pay-as-you-go model of financing which allows the customer to leave behind open-fire cooking by acquiring an induction cook stove upfront and paying it off in manageable, interest-free instalments.
Proudly assembled in Ethiopia by Green Scene Energy’s team of experienced engineers, each induction cooking device is tailored to local cooking practices and habits. Our research indicates that diverse cooking requirements necessitate multiple devices to fully replace carbon-emitting fuels, with electrical induction-stove cooking – powered either on-grid or off-grid, by solar power – being an essential part of the transition process.
Health and Environmental Impact
Adoption of rapid, efficient, electrical induction cooking vastly reduces the health risks associated with biomass fuels. It also contributes to multiple Sustainable Development Goals. Cleaner cooking methods reduce exposure to smoke and fire hazards, especially benefitting women and children.
