Since launching in November 2025, TOLO — Ethiopia’s first locally manufactured induction stove — has grown from an idea into a production line turning out around 200 units per day at our facility in Addis Ababa.
TOLO brings clean, efficient, flame-free cooking to Ethiopian households, restaurants, and institutions. The range spans compact single-burner household models through to heavy-duty 8 kW commercial units built for high-volume kitchens. By manufacturing locally, we create Ethiopian jobs, reduce import dependency, and keep prices within reach of the families who need clean cooking most.
The road ahead is ambitious: we are pursuing international quality and safety certification (VeraSol verification and IEC 60335) and building financing partnerships with Ethiopian financial institutions to make TOLO accessible nationwide — because clean cooking should never be a luxury.
