About the award
The LinkedIn Changemaker Awards Ethiopia recognises leadership, innovation and advocacy across fields that matter. The awards ceremony was held on 1 August 2026 at Addis Ababa Theatre, bringing together finalists selected through public nominations, voting and expert evaluation.
Rekik was nominated in the Best Climate and Sustainability Content category for the work she shares on LinkedIn about clean energy access, local manufacturing and women in engineering.
Why it matters
This recognition comes at a time when Green Scene Energy is scaling on several fronts: launching the TOLO induction stove, expanding solar installations across Ethiopia and building partnerships that bring clean energy to communities that need it most.
