Green Scene Energy PLC has been selected as a grantee of the Ethiopia Jobs Challenge Fund under Window 2, the fund’s scale-up window for growth-stage and established businesses.
The Ethiopia Jobs Challenge Fund is implemented by the Ministry of Labor and Skills (MoLS) with financing from KfW, the German Development Bank, and the Ethiopian government. It exists to help enterprises grow and to create decent, lasting jobs for refugees and host communities in Addis Ababa. Window 2 grants are awarded competitively to established businesses with a track record of operations and a credible plan for inclusive job creation.
“Refugees and host communities are not only beneficiaries of the energy transition. They are its workforce.”
Rekik Bekele, Founder and CEO, Green Scene Energy
